Business Systems provides the foundational information technology environment and associated support services underpinning GPC Asia Pacific’s ability to serve its diverse range of customers via multiple channels including through a geographically dispersed store and distribution centre network.

With more than 556 points of presence across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific, managing thousands of interactions and millions of stock items daily, our Business Systems department is one of the backbones of our operations.  In order to support a geographically diverse business, Business Systems is available 7 days a week to support the store and DC network from the moment the first store opens for trading in New Zealand all the way through to when the last store closes in Perth. Staffed by a team of dedicated professionals based largely at the GPC Asia Pacific headquarters in Melbourne, our service desk is the first port of call for IT related issues encountered by our store, distribution centre, sales and support office teams.

GPC Asia Pacific’s core trading platform is an enterprise-wide technology application known as Automotive Computing Excellence (ACE). This application has been developed and enhanced specifically to meet the needs of our business and industry, and allows us to quickly and efficiently meet and deliver our business needs.  The flexibility inherent in this application provides GPC Asia Pacific with the unique ability to respond to ongoing changes in the market place.
